More than1000 fisher women should be engaged in hand made fish net making.
Import of Lead raw material either from Sreelanka or China. (Require Rs.1 Cr as working capital).
Plan to export dry fish to European countries.
Plan to establish a fish stall at Abhu Dhabi and Dubai.
Plan to introduce satellite phone to fishermen who go for deep sea fishing.
Planing to promote another FPO in Tuticorin Dt. At Komputhurai fishermen village with the consent of NABARD.
SCF directors and POPI is willing to train other FPOs in India and Tamilnadu.
